Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy applies when you visit pokevaults.com, create an account, contact us, join a mailing list, enter a promotion or make or attempt to make a purchase.

01

Scope & Who We Are

PokeVaults is responsible for the personal information described in this policy when it determines why and how that information is used. “PokeVaults,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the operator of pokevaults.com.

This policy covers our online store and related customer service. It does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

02

Personal Information We Collect

The information collected depends on how you interact with the Site.

Information You Provide

  • Contact and identity information: name, email address, telephone number, billing address and shipping address.
  • Order information: products viewed or ordered, order value, discounts, shipping method, payment status where applicable, returns and customer-service history.
  • Account information: username, password credentials stored in protected form, saved addresses and account preferences.
  • Communications: emails, messages, reviews, survey responses, promotion entries and information included in support requests.
  • Marketing preferences: subscriptions, consent records and communication choices.

Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, approximate location derived from IP and time zone.
  • Pages and products viewed, referring pages, links selected, search activity, session information and timestamps.
  • Cookie identifiers and information about how the Site performs and is used.
  • Security and fraud signals associated with attempted transactions or account activity.

Information From Other Sources

We may receive delivery updates from carriers, fraud or security signals from service providers, and campaign or referral information from marketing partners.

03

Cookies & Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files stored on a browser or device. The Site may also use pixels, tags, local storage and server logs. These technologies may be used to:

  • Keep the store, cart, checkout and account features working.
  • Remember preferences and maintain sessions.
  • Protect the Site, prevent fraud and diagnose errors.
  • Measure performance and understand how visitors use the Site.
  • Support advertising or measure campaigns when those features are enabled.

You can control many cookies through the Site’s cookie-preference tool, where available, and through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the cart, account or checkout from working correctly. General browser-cookie guidance is available at allaboutcookies.org.

04

How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Accept and fulfill orders, provide any necessary payment instructions, arrange delivery and provide order records.
  • Create and manage accounts and saved preferences.
  • Respond to questions, returns, complaints and other support requests.
  • Confirm product limits, screen transactions and protect against fraud, abuse and security threats.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and improve the Site, products and customer experience.
  • Measure store and campaign performance.
  • Send service messages and, where permitted, product news, restock alerts or offers.
  • Maintain business, tax, accounting, warranty, dispute and compliance records.
  • Enforce our policies, establish or defend legal claims, and comply with law.
05

Legal Bases for Processing

Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR require a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Contract: processing needed to provide requested products, accounts, delivery or support.
  • Legitimate interests: operating and improving the store, securing transactions, preventing fraud and understanding business performance, balanced against your rights.
  • Consent: for optional cookies, certain marketing or another activity when consent is required. You may withdraw consent prospectively.
  • Legal obligation: maintaining records and responding to valid legal requirements.
06

When We Disclose Information

We may disclose relevant information to service providers that help us run the store, subject to appropriate contractual or legal protections. Categories may include:

  • Website hosting, content delivery, database, backup and security providers.
  • Fraud-prevention and identity-verification services when enabled.
  • Warehouses, fulfillment partners, shipping carriers and address-validation services.
  • Email, SMS, customer-support and review platforms.
  • Analytics and advertising providers when enabled and permitted.
  • Accountants, insurers, auditors, lawyers and other professional advisers.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect customers or the public, investigate fraud, enforce our agreements, or complete a merger, financing, sale or transfer of all or part of the business.

We do not exchange personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define certain advertising or analytics disclosures as a “sale,” “sharing” or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, you may opt out as described below.

07

Payments & Checkout

PokeVaults does not currently use an integrated third-party payment processor on the Site. We may collect the minimum order and payment-status information needed to confirm and manage a purchase, but we do not ask customers to submit complete card, bank-account or digital-wallet credentials through the Site’s contact forms or by email.

Never email us a full card number, bank password, wallet recovery phrase, private key or security code. If an integrated payment provider is introduced in the future, we will update this policy to explain the provider’s role before using it to process customer payments.

08

Analytics, Advertising & Privacy Signals

When enabled, analytics tools help us understand traffic and Site performance. Advertising tools may measure campaigns, limit repeated ads or help show more relevant promotions. Their use may involve cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses and browsing activity.

You can use the Site’s cookie settings, browser controls and the opt-out tools offered by the relevant provider. Because there is no universally accepted standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, the Site may not respond to DNT. Where required by applicable law, we will process recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request for the browser or device sending the signal.

09

Your Choices

  • Marketing: use the unsubscribe link in promotional emails or contact us. You may still receive transactional messages about orders, security or policy changes.
  • Cookies: adjust the Site’s preference tool or your browser settings.
  • Account: update available profile details through your account or contact support.
  • Privacy requests: ask to access, correct or delete information, or object to or restrict certain uses, where applicable.

To protect your information, we may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Some information may be retained or a request may be limited when an exception applies—for example, to complete a transaction, detect fraud, maintain legally required records or resolve a dispute. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

10

Regional Privacy Rights

EEA, United Kingdom & Switzerland

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; withdraw consent; and complain to a supervisory authority. These rights are not absolute and legal exceptions may apply.

United States

Residents of states with applicable consumer privacy laws may have rights to know or access information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of qualifying sale, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling. Some laws also allow an authorized agent to make a request and allow you to appeal a denied request.

California residents may have applicable rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information and receive equal service. These rights apply only when the relevant law covers PokeVaults and the request.

To make a request: email support@pokevaults.com with the subject “Privacy Rights Request,” identify your jurisdiction and describe the right you wish to exercise.
11

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. The period depends on the type of information and may include the time needed to fulfill orders, provide support, keep tax and accounting records, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, resolve disputes and satisfy legal requirements.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it, subject to backup cycles and lawful retention obligations.

12

International Data Transfers

PokeVaults is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from those where you live.

When required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, adequacy decisions or another lawful transfer mechanism.

13

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No website, storage system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

You are responsible for using a strong, unique password and keeping account credentials confidential. Contact us promptly if you believe an account or interaction with PokeVaults has been compromised.

14

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. Purchases must be made by a person able to enter a binding contract or with appropriate parent or guardian involvement.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@pokevaults.com so we can review and take appropriate action.

15

Third-Party Sites & Services

The Site may link to third-party websites, social platforms, marketplaces or tools. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy. Review the privacy information of a third party before providing information to it.

16

Changes & Contact Us

We may update this policy to reflect changes in technology, providers, business practices or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may receive additional notice when required.
